Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne is excited to announce the grand reopening of its championship 18-hole course, now featuring extensively renovated tees, bunkers, and greens. To commemorate this milestone, a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Monday, January 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST, with the esteemed presence of the Mayor.
The comprehensive $5 million revitalization project, initiated on May 6, 2024, encompassed significant upgrades to the course’s infrastructure. Golfers can now look forward to enhanced playing conditions, including improved greens and bunkering, new cart paths, and a state-of-the-art irrigation system designed to maintain the course’s quality and playability for years to come.
Nestled on the picturesque island of Key Biscayne, just a short drive from downtown Miami, Crandon Golf offers a unique golfing experience surrounded by water, mangroves, and lush tropical foliage. The course has a storied history, having hosted the Senior PGA Tour for 18 years and being recognized among the top public golf courses in America.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at Crandon Golf, located at 6700 Crandon Blvd., Key Biscayne. Golf enthusiasts and community members are invited to join the celebration and experience firsthand the remarkable enhancements made to this iconic course.
